The pool was not usable. It was dirty with dead bugs floating on the surface. We didn’t see a single person in the pool during our entire visit. "We liked the private hot tub, especially since the weather was too cold to swim. The room had a kitchenette, which we appreciated since there's no room service and it was 20 minute walk to town. A car is definitely needed for Sao Miguel. The room was cleaned very well, but people aren't very careful and we could see stains on the sofa even though the hotel is relatively new. There was a somewhat small smart TV in the room, but it worked well. Breakfast was basic but included with the reservation...
