"Everything was great."

"The hotel is not a hotel it is a motel . The drive to Te Anau is 20 mins. The view from the motel is beautiful. The beds are not comfortable, and the pictures on Expedia is a misrepresentation of what the property actually is."

"We enjoyed our stay, Phillipa and Rob are excellent hosts. The choice for breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit and muffins. A quick and easy access to the ferry point. Would highly recommend staying here."

"Nice view but hot water has limit when full of customer. Warmer not work well."

"Absolutely gem if a place in the hills above Te Anau. Spectacular out-of-this world views, expansive open skies and stars, and once-in-a-lifetime sunsets on a mountain backdrop listening to the native birds sing. Incredibly welcoming, kind and communicative host. Superb outdoor hot tub, spotless luxury bath and shower, complete kitchen and free simple breakfast. The whole package is super ecological with rain water collection, heat pump HVAC, solar panels, local construction materials, natural...

"Great spot to look out over the water and mountains. A couple of things that weren't so great were: the shower leaked really badly all over the floor and there was no extra drain the the bathroom to catch any of it. Also couldn't use the TV as I think the battery remote was flat. Could turn it on from the TV but couldn't do anything without the remote. It was later at night that we discovered this."

"Great place to stay! Staff extremely friendly and helpful offering lots of suggestions of things to do and places to eat. Room was spacious and nice with lovely coffee on offer too."

"Nice clean motel, very friendly staff. Conveniently located."
