"Great hotel right next to the MRT and 2 large shopping malls. The rooms were very cleana nd well presented, the pool and gym were also good with sun at the pool from morning until around 12 pm. Staff were all very helpful and i would definitely recommend the hotel for a stay in Banglok "

"Beautiful hotel just set back from Main Street but easy to walk to or get a ride with hotel Tuk Tuk. Staff are always friendly and helpful. A special mention to Nina for her help and giving me a later check out as my flight was in the evening. My 3rd stay here and will definitely come back again."

"Great location for shopping, restaurants and general sightseeing. Hotel was clean and quiet with great views. Important to note that the hotel is a "dry hotel", you can bring in your own alcoholic drinks, but alcohol is not available at the hotel at all. Great hotel for relaxation and comfort."

"Pros: Breakfast was really good with lots of options, rooms were spacious, staff was friendly, 7/11 and coffee shop across the road which was convenient. Cons: A very long drive with traffic to get to central Bangkok- this hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Pool is ground level beside the front doors and up against lobby and restaurant windows so you’re really out on display. Also found mould in our shower. "

"Convenient location, close BTS, Terminal 21, restaurants…even though busy neighborhood, nice, clean, big room in garden building was very quiet. Staff always very helpful and friendly. Nice rooftop pool and bar."

"I stayed at 5 different hotels and resorts in my first solo travel to Thailand.. 2 in Bangkok, 1 in Chiang Mai, and 2 in Ko Samui. I would only give one of these stays 5 stars and it is the Carlton. Not because it was anything extravagant or spectacular.. but because it consistently excelled in all areas I would consider worthy to give it 5 stars. Consistency is most important to me in awarding 5 stars while other properties may be more spectacle in 1-2 (Dusit Thani) areas but fall short in others. Location - good to everything but tucked away enough to feel like you got away from the overwhelming chaos Staff - very friendly Gym - smallish but one of the best out of the trip Pool - solid with attentive staff Rooftop - nice with a cozy feeling and good view Room - comfortable and quiet. The quietest out of all the hotels I stayed at but I had a room that was tucked away at the end of hallway."
