"The hotel part of the venue was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The meals were very good. The location was great for where we wanted to be. The motel offered both cabins and rooms and had ample off-street parking. Unfortunately we had a room that was very tight to move in, although it was clean. The shower couldn't be regulated and ran hot and cold constantly. Hardly had any sleep due to road noise and the almost constant sound of water running in a pipe. I don't know...

"Loved this B&B - the room (Langley) was clean and big, and had everything you need. There was a cafetiere for the coffee which I genuinely don't know that I've ever had in a hotel before, and really liked. There's UHT milk in the room and fresh milk and cold water in a fridge in the guest lounge (as well as bags of ice that I somehow missed until the last night, don't miss the ice). "Unfortunately there was no air-conditioning in our cosy double. However, on mentioning this, a staff member produced a second larger fan, which sorted the problem. Breakfast menu was very good. Cooked breakfasts well presented. Husband missed Granola! Waitresses lovely. Coffee machine a good one. Views from restaurant beautiful. Good location for everything, including public transport."

"The Stanley is in an excellent position on the main promenade and very close to the quayside and town centre. Our room was quite spacious, bright and airy and with a lovely Seaview. There is a comfortable lounge and a lovely garden with table and seating. There is good car park if you are driving. Our only disappointment was the guest house does not provide breakfast. However, there is a very good option at the Harbourside Cafe which is only a few minutes walk and opens at 07.30hrs"
