Staff was friendly. Hotel is older but rooms have been remodeled so it's nice looking. Only bad part was all the dead crickets in the room.

Very clean rooms and quiet. Its a roadside motel so we didn't expect or need much since we were only there to sleep, but that's all we needed it for. Rooms were clean and quiet and very reasonably priced. Check in was easy and staff was friendly. My only "complaint" or suggestion to improve would be to change the lighting - all the bulbs are that stark cold bright white light which is not warm and cozy... feels like a sterile hospital

Do not let the front desk fools you, as they seem to be renovating the property. The rooms have been recently fully redone and look great. More than two bath towels would have been appreciated.

The stay would have been better if we werent fighting the cricket out of the room. Not the kind of pet we had in mind at all. You would think the doors would have been up to date so that critters werent able to get in. Just glad its over.

There was no sign to indicate it was Sunset. There was an indoor couch sitting outside near the office door. One leg of the couch was missing so a piece of wood held it up. The office was cluttered and needed paint. There was a printed sign on the wall stating if you stayed in a room longer than 20 minutes no refund is available. The room was clean and OK. At 6 in the morning loud rap music began to play and loud voices could be heard. When we left our room young people were sitting outside their rooms in chairs and didn't appear to be preparing to go to work or leave. We had to ring a doorbell twice to wake up someone in the office so we could check out around 7:30 am. We will not stay at this location again.
