"Clean hotel, decent facilities, pool nice and warm, usually you can find parking outside unless it’s peak season. But scored down because they had no vegetarian sasuages despite us mentioning when we checked in. This is unforgivable in this day and age as there was no alternative and a lack of initiative to solve the issue eg go to the local coop and get some. Not very inclusive… "
"We always enjoy our stay at West Cliff hotel.Staff are very friendly and helpful, the pool and garden areas are great for the kids to have fun whilst adults relax.
Would be nice to have some bottled water in rooms. Could do with shampoo and body wash pumps in the bathrooms instead of very small bottles that are supplied. Short walk to the beach but far enough away from late night activaties in the main town which I prefer when little ones stay. Resturant and bar very nice and food is alway good."
"The room we stayed in was very dirty, hairs all over the bathroom sink and marks on the walls. Found a false nail on the window sill. The furnishings were worn and damaged. We ended up moving rooms because it was so dirty. The property is very dated and you could hear everything in the rooms above and next to us. The hot tub needed to be cleaned and the water was not hot.
The pool was ok!"
"Amazing stay – highly recommend!
We had a fantastic stay at ibis Styles Bournemouth.
The room was much more spacious than we expected, very clean and extremely comfortable. One of the highlights was the kitchen area – it was far better equipped than I could have imagined, which made our stay even easier and more enjoyable.
The staff were all very friendly and attentive, always happy to help. Parking was also very easy and stress-free, which is a big plus.
The location is excellent – close to everything, and especially just a short walk from the beach. We were lucky to have beautiful sunny weather, so we enjoyed a lovely day by the sea.
It is also less than 40 minutes from Paultons Park (Peppa Pig World), which was perfect for us. We were able to enjoy the park and still make the most of Bournemouth.
Everything was perfect. We would definitely stay here again, even without a special deal, as it is absolutely worth the price.
The only small disappointment was that the swimming pool was closed, and my daughter was a bit sad about that. However, the great weather and beach day more than made up for it."
"It was very noisy until past 10pm with activities and when arriving with our nurse old, it wasn't hugely ideal. What was good was the dark room, bath, bath mat and fridge. "
"Easter Weekend, arrived on Good Friday 2pm to be told to go back at 3pm, which was the proper check-in time. We were allowed to leave bags and took the opportunity to explore area. Got back at 3pm to face a queue of guests waiting to check in and only 1 person on desk. When we got to speak to teh person on the desk we were told that our check in details have not come through, but she had all our info, asked for payment and asked us to wait and that she would get back to us. We went to the bar and ordered a drink, waited for approx 45 mins before heading back to the desk to find out what was the delay. At this point she said all was OK and gave us the room entry card.
Room was of good size and clean, bathroom was also clean although it would have been better to have glasses instead of plastic cups. Bed was comfortable. Room view was to the street, which was fine.
The hotel is well situated and has a few nice family restaurants near by.
Breakfast was good and staff were welcoming, helpful and bright.
Spa/Swimming Pool was a bit of a hit and miss, we did not see anybody attending it, the gym is fairly tired and in need of new equipment. The Pool is good and big enough to exercise as well as just enjoy a splash. The jacuzzi is also of good size and enjoyable. THe Sauna is good, but could do with a bit of aroma. The Steam Room was nice, but was not working all the time.
The bar was also decent and it seem to be popular for afternoon tea. Parking is NOT FREE."
