Top Bournemouth Hotel Reviews

Laguna Hotel
2/10 Terrible
"Room was disgusting, bugs crawling all over the walls. The bathroom had a lot of limescale build up and mould. The carpet was covered in stains. The bed was rock solid but the base was wobbly. The curtains would let is so much light it’s pretty pointless having such a light thin fabric for a curtain. I told staff I was checking out because the room was so awful, the said they would refund me but no refund has been given back. I was in that room less than an hour. The shower water would run freezing cold to scolding hot even after having the water running for nearly 10 minutes. The entire building of the copper beach stank of booze and BO. I would never stay here again, I would have rather of slept in my car!"

Hilton Bournemouth
10/10 Excellent
"I only stayed 2 nights but every time I visit Bournemouth in the future I certainly will stay at the Hilton. From the moment of arrival to leaving the staff were all very pleasant, always willing to help. Great tasting food. The room a standard room was really nice. Good size and very clean. A very pleasant stay, highly recommend"

The Green House

"Very good restaurant, bar and close to beach and town."

The Durley Dean Hotel
6/10 Okay
"Our room was quite small and so was the ensuite. The bed was very high up! It was comfortable enough, but there was only one pillow per person. Towels in ensuite quite thin. Really lovely and quiet, even though we kept our window open. Breakfast was okay, not much choice for vegetarians. Location of hotel is great. Walk down passed the hotel car park and you are on the path overlooking the sea in minutes. The Durley Dean is a beautiful building. The inside is reminiscent of traditional hotels of day's gone by. All perfectly adequate for a holiday by the sea."

THE GROVE HOTEL
8/10 Good
"Stayed here with my husband for 4 nights while visiting a relative in the area. While the hotel is a little dated decor-wise the lounge areas, conservatory & the bedroom we had were very spacious & very clean. The restaurant for breakfast is really nice & while the food & service was good a bit of variety on the fruit options would have been welcome - melon & pineapple on all the days we were there is a bit boring! First hotel buffet breakfast I've come across that also didn't offer any yogurt to go with the fruit options. Great cooked breakfast though! Thanks also to all the friendly, helpful staff - nothing was ever too much trouble & we felt really welcome."
