"Exceeded expectations "

"The hotel is very good, particularly for short stays. For me that only spent the night with my 2 children, I can’t complain. The swimming pool is their stronghold with heated waters and a jacuzzi with bubbles. They offer breakfast buffet for an extra price and their bed sheets make you heat up fast but that’s all there is to complain. The room is very warm, bad for the summer but great for a winter stay like us. Water pressure is a bit weak but the temperatures is quite warm so that’s good. The...

"Very helpful and friendly and clean. Very reasonable price to stay for the night in Bournemouth, Would definitely recommend the lodge if you are heading to Bournemouth. We went to see a concert at the pavilion, only a 15 minutes walk back to the hotel. "

"Great location for minutes walk to the beach and shops/restaurants albeit all accessible down steep hills not a problem for us Down the bottom of west hill road at the sea front is a funicular We stayed in room 7 a standard double Small but suitable for us and equipped for out 1 night stay The pool jacuzzi sauna steam room were an added treat Will be back "

"Great hotel, has an old school country club feel about it, with lovely grounds to the front overlooking the sea. The night I stayed, there was a fantastic Jazz evening followed by someone playing a few tunes on the babygrand piano (me!). Short walk to the centre and main attractions. Like an oasis in an urban dessert, I cannot recommend it enough. I look forward to a return visit soon."
