"The hotel is in a good location. Only 10 minutes walk to the beach and about 20 minutes to the venue of town. Nice room and good bathroom with plenty of room in the shower. In the bathroom the extractor fan didn't work and there was a bulb out. The bed was comfortable, although the pillows were a bit flat. The bedroom didn't have air conditioning and the small portable fan didn't really help to cool things down. The staff were great - uniformly pleasant and helpful. There is an in house bar...

"Enjoyed an absolutely wonderful 4 nights here. The hosts were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Everywhere was clean and tidy, and the room itself was amazing. The hotel is perfectly situated on West Cliff, near to a bus stop and also close to the West Cliff lift should you not feel like walking up from the beach! There's also a handy Nisa local just round the corner, and a pub with good food (The Hop Inn). Highly recommended A++++"

"Great staff, location and refurbishment. Food, drink, garden and leisure facilities excellent and the whole team couldn't be more helpful. Useful perks like free water, good tea and coffee tray, an actual bath and £5 off you don't have your room cleaned to spend on food or drink. Can't recommend it enough and will definitely be back!"

"Conveniently located in town in Christchurch and walking distance to the marina area. Comfortable with everything you need."

"Building took me back, I love deco style buildings...Inside when immediately walk in appears dated, as does staircase but most important is the room, which was clean and had everything I needed. Woman on reception is very friendly and very helpful. English breakfast was good. Only 10 minute walk to the coast but in a quiet road. If in Bournemouth again would stay here again."

"Serious group system issue meant my confirmed booking was not received at the hotel and I had to find somewhere else. Arrived at 6pm. Several people waiting to check in. One person on reception. No booking for me, despite messages from the hotel. Over an hour and a half later confirmed there would be no room for me. I asked to pay for a room. Offered a room in the sister East Cliff hotel which was hot and grotty. Will avoid the OYO name in future."
