"Nice bar and restaurant area - near to Folkestone and exit to channel tunnel so all good - local garages, Tesco’s M&S garage shop McD’ all in close Proximity. Rooms are clean and basic but with just what you need. Great to have food available on site plus the free Breakfast is perfect to set you on your way. Staff are willing to help with any needs - that are possible. Only gripe would be having to pay for car parking. So ideal place to stay if need to be near Folkestone and the Channel...

"When we arrived, there was a mixup with the booking but they handled it really well. They gave us a room that we hadn’t booked which was fantastic. We then moved the next day into another lovely room. They bent over backwards and they couldn’t do enough for us it made my stay and my partners stay whose birthday it was on the Monday an absolutely fantastic time and may I just say thanks to Sam and the team for looking after us and making us so welcome. "This is a charming guesthouse in a very walkable location, near the Dover Castle, numerous pubs and restaurants. Alex the owner is super helpful and gracious. The kitchen was well-stocked with many breakfast items and there were a few good cafes nearby for a nice latte or flat white. Upon our departure, Alex arranged a taxi to take us to the cruise port which was very helpful. The room we stayed in had a comfortable bed and a lot of personality. "Third time staying here due to the positive previous experiences. The positive streak continued with a great room featuring a fantastic air-conditioning unit which kept me cool in the June heat. A wonderful workout ensued in their very well-equipped gym set up. This was followed by a powerful shower and I went to dine nearby. "The view from my accommodation and also that of my family members in the two next door was way better than the picture - literally 'tree tops' - looking across the Kent countryside through mature trees.
