We read the reviews and were intrigued. We stayed in winter, and it is cold in Bothwell. The room was pleasant and clean. No hairdryer or wifi are drawbacks, however for a one night stay, this was a very good option.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the wine, cheese and biscuits etc. Host was very responsive, instructions for check in were clear.
