"If I could, I would give more than 5 stars for this breathtaking riad in the old city Fes. If you are a frequent traveler, you probably have have experienced the catfish aspect of a property posting it's unrealistically beautiful pictures on these platforms. Riad Mazar Fes is the exception. Pictures don't do justice to how beautiful this exceptionally build and meticulously maintained riad. And that is not the best thing about it. Breakfast in the courtyard was lovely, and the staff was extremely helpful and gracious. "The room was better than pictured. The lobby was beautiful. The rooftop terrace held a panoramic view of the city. They left a pot of coffee and a thermos in f hot milk at our table- a first in Morocco. Breakfast included a delicious omelet and local breads and spreads. "It’s my most favorite Riad in all of Morocco! I doubt I’ll ever find a more wonderful team of people who go above and beyond to make everyone’s stay most enjoyable. "Absolute delight staying here. We truly loved the beautiful riad—it was charming, peaceful, and impeccably maintained. Anwar and Chantal (the owner) were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to help us when we were in a bit of a jam, which meant so much to us!! "Lovely Riad! Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. You are offered a tray of mint tea and little snacks when you first arrive and when you come back after a long day in the Medina.
