"I read some negative reviews of this place and I have no idea why anyone would rate this place poorly. It is excellent accommodations. Great breakfast. The only negative is that the ad says something about a bar and lounge - uh - no. There is a little bar by the reservation desk with a couple of chairs but that’s it. All in all a great place to stay."

"The front desk personnel was friendly and helpful. The room was nice. The bed was comfortable. There was a small refrigerator. The bathroom and shower were totally tiled, which was nice. "My family stayed 1 night at Alnes Gard during our trip to Norway. We stayed here as a base to see Alesund and so glad we did! This place is a lovely little gem and we had fun exploring the small island. We saw lovely rainbows, experienced a beautiful ocean sunset, and went on a great hike! Would highly recommend this place! "
