"An affordable gem! It's not a typical hotel with a front desk, but everything was well-organized and communication was good. We were delighted to have access to laundry facilities (only one large washer and one large dryer, so they were in constant demand), along with a large, bright, cheery well-equipped communal kitchen - it was great fun mingling with many other international travelers preparing their meals there! Our rooms were roomy, clean, quiet and comfortable. Easy parking, a nice harbor front location just a few blocks from the town center, and a fun little waterfall hike right next door to the guesthouse."

"We had a wonderful stay here. The guesthouse was clean, comfortable, and very spacious, with absolutely everything we needed. The view was astounding! Communication was excellent as well. We were contacted well in advance with clear information about the location, how to get there, and how to check in, which made everything very easy when we arrived. Overall, a great place to stay near Egilsstaðir. We would happily stay here again!"
