Hotel was convenient. Reccomendation is to support drinking service in the evening. At 21:00 being 29 deg C outside it would be nice if one can enjoy the weather outside on the terrace with a drink.

Rudimentär ausgestattetes Zimmer zu hohem Preis

Rudimentär ausgestattetes sehr kleines Zimmer direkt neben dem Hoteleingang. Entsprechend war die Lautstärke bis tief ins die Nacht durch rückkehrende andere Gäste (Bierfest), die teilweise mit dem Auto bis direkt vor das Zimmerfenster gebracht worden sind. Selbstverständlich mit lautstarker Verabschiedungszeremonie. Daher war Fensteröffnen (ebenerdig) erst ab ca. 3:00 nachts möglich. Keine Zimmeraufbereitung während des Aufenthaltes, Frühstück ab 08:00 (für Geschäftsreisende zu spät), aber bezahlt. Ab 21:00 "Bar" geschlossen. Zimmerpreis auf 4* Niveau in Großstädten deutlich überteuert für die gebotene Leistung. Ich hatte ausdrücklich bereits im Vorfeld um ein ruhiges Zimmer gebeten und hatte offensichtlich das am wenigsten Geeignete zugewiesen bekommen.

Old world, friendly service.

This is a traditional hotel that had seen better days - faded pictures, old fashioned styling. But everything worked, except for internet. Almost non existent WiFi, no 4G or even 2G. (Hillside). Reception area reminded me of a hostel. Service & breakfast was good. If you’re on the 3rd floor there is no elevator. Location not convenient for shops.

Up the road from Boppard.

This is a cute inn, up the road from the chairlift.It is a quiet area and walkable to Boppard. I booked in advance due to location and amenties. We were informed the hosts would not be there and we self checked in. This meant no wifi and no bar(which there is). It is always nice to enjoy a drink after a long day on the road-it was disappointing. Breakfast was good-nice selection with cook to order eggs.

There are many activities you can do. Hiking, Mountain biking and so on. The view from the top of the mountain to Rhine river is terrific.
