"My friend and I had booked a room for Run the Gap- the location was perfect. We had booked a renovated room, the first room they gave us was not renovated and very old, the second room they gave us smelt like a cat had urinated in the room, the 3rd room we settled on was renovated, didn’t smell but the carpet was desperately in need of a clean. The heat pump was erratic and took about 20 mins to warm up. The bed linen was quality. The front desk was kinda helpful. We would not recommend this to other people. The property needs a lot of work."

"I liked this place. It was perfect for us. The 2 bedroom cabin was simple but nice. Loved the location. Loved all the wildlife outside our cabin. The staff were terrific. Would definitely stay here again."

"The motel is located right in town close to cafes, hotels and breweries. It has a wonderful outlook over paddocks towards the hills. However the hotel is run down and in need of work. Our room was not ready for us an hour after the advertised time for registering. Our bathroom was not cleaned properly - a used, wet face-washer and a half empty shampoo bottle was left in the shower. There was significant mould in the shower. We requested a room service the second day of our stay but that was "missed" by the staff, who did provide replacement towels etc. when asked. To be fair the rest of our room was clean, spacious and well laid out. Cigarette buts near the front and rear doors of our room were not a good look. Our room was quiet."

"Only one thing. The shower outlet was leaking and could not be turned off completely. When we first used it there was a lot of effort required to turn it on, suggest replacing the spindles as well as the washers. These taps were turned off so tightly the spindles would have to have been damaged."
