"The motel is located right in town close to cafes, hotels and breweries. It has a wonderful outlook over paddocks towards the hills. However the hotel is run down and in need of work. Our room was not ready for us an hour after the advertised time for registering. Our bathroom was not cleaned properly - a used, wet face-washer and a half empty shampoo bottle was left in the shower. There was significant mould in the shower. We requested a room service the second day of our stay but that was "missed" by the staff, who did provide replacement towels etc. when asked. To be fair the rest of our room was clean, spacious and well laid out. Cigarette buts near the front and rear doors of our room were not a good look. Our room was quiet."

"Only one thing. The shower outlet was leaking and could not be turned off completely. When we first used it there was a lot of effort required to turn it on, suggest replacing the spindles as well as the washers. These taps were turned off so tightly the spindles would have to have been damaged."

"Been there before always great to relax there. love the lake and the surroundings of lake fyan. Great caravan pk not far out of halls gap. we stayed in lake view cabin this time and enjoyed the cabin, we will stay in lake cabin when we stay there again."

"Lovely place to stay, comfortable cosy beds. Kitchen had all we needed for a three night stay., a few things in the lodge needed attention, broken faucet over bath, bug screens, possibly more than one tea towel for longer stays would be great, and new sponges per stay as no spray n wipe provided. "The whole property is welcoming. Jeet welcomed us and the atay was fantastic. Lovely place for family to just wind down and enjoy the nature around the property along with just basking the sheer view of the stars during a clear night sky. It was a much needed escape even though i was there for a work trip. It was a great stay and will definitely be our go to destination during halls gap trip. Reliable internet and facilities along with animal feeding in the morning was just amazing. Highly recommended."
