"Our family travelled around Ireland and London for 2 weeks and stayed at 9 different hotels and this was the best hotel we stayed at even though it was the least expensive. The newly remodeled rooms are beautiful and spacious. The staff was very friendly and it was within walking distance of the Bunratty castle and other restaurants. The most pleasant surprise though was the spa with a beautiful pool and saunas along with a great workout facility. If you are planning to stay anywhere near this...

"We loved the character of Carrygarry house. It was quaint and quiet. The hosts were really helpful. Room and bed were clean and comfortable. This is close to Shannon airport so a good place if you need to make airport runs. Highly recommend."

I asked the man on reception if it was ok for my 16 year old son to come into the bar with me to watch the live band- he was very stern and said he would turn a blind eye and my son would not be allowed alcohol and that they would be ‘watching’!! I wouldn’t allow my son to drink alcohol, I just wanted him to be able to watch the live band (who were very entertaining!) so I was surprised to see the bar had lots of children running around after 9pm! "Stayed for 3 days in a suite. The apartment had a mini kitchen which was helpful with a 14 month old. Spacious with 2 bedrooms. Beds were very good. The apartment had several bugs. Small spiders and some othrr ones. Breakfast was average. Staff was helpful. Internet was totally unusable. Bathroom/shower fixtures were broken."
