Great little place to stay, very well equipped and the gardens are absolutely beautiful. The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome and nothing is too much effort for them, even posting an item left behind in the room back to NSW. Definitely recommend this little gem for a true Tassie experience 😊

Lovely spacious and comfortable cottage. Nice large kitchen. Parking straight out front. Only small issue was that I couldn't get a workable internet connection. Appleby's Restaurant close by was amazingly good!! Worth coming to Tassie to visit Boat Harbour!!

A bonus stay in Tasmania.

We were unexpectedly stuck in Tasmania when all the ferries were cancelled, so had a few extra days holiday. We therefore booked the Cottage very last minute to explore the north coast of Tasmania. Excellent location - we visited Stanley, did the Coast to Canyon tour, tulip farm and beaches which were all less than an hour's drive from the cottage. The owner gave us some local tips for our stay which were helpful and we really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The hosts' gardens were also a joy to explore.

Great two night rural escape.

Lovely stay at Boat Harbour, centrally located to Burnie and Stanley, very quiet and very comfortable. Our host Steve very friendly and welcoming, I will be back.
