"The room was good, very clean, beautiful view every day, excellent restaurant. It was the best meal we had on Block Island. The only complaint we had was when there was a musician in late afternoon & we were told we couldn’t have a drink, seemed a bit ridiculous. Would highly recommend !!"

"We stayed in room 9. It was very comfortable, very spacious. There are windows on three sides so there was a great breeze across that kept us cool without the AC. Andreas helped us carry a bag up to the 3rd floor since the elevator stops at 2. We liked this location, one mile from town. It was very walkable, to and from the ferry. The gorgeous beach is less than a 1/2 mile away. The Oar restaurant is about 1/2 mile up the road which is a great spot for good food and drinks while overlooking the marina."

"The property sits on the Great Salt Pond/Harbor. The view from our room and many others is beautiful. The restaurant and pubs are pricey like the rest of Block Island but they all offer great service and comfort. This hotel is worth the cost."

"We were in The Gothic House. Room 408 had a great view. Maria was very helpful getting us an extra glass and lamp. Loved the rocking chairs outside. Easy to walk around town."

"This was an excellent find. I had the captain’s room and it was a very spacious and super well detailed. It is new construction so everything is immaculate. Gwen was a gem who helped us during our stay (you need to check in at the restaurant). It is only 6 rooms so book early"
