"There was no signage for the car park as it was through a narrow gap behind the hotel. I was given the key to the room, which I was told was through a door to the right of reception. On going through the door I found I was outside in the poring rain with again no signage. I went back into the hotel and found a lovely lady who was cleaning, who I asked where room 225 was. "Cheap attic room. Unfortunately TV in neighbouring room boomed all night . We phoned the assistance number and the parson who answered said she would sort it out (she was off site). Nothing was done all night . We and other guests tried to get someone in room to respond by banging loudly at 4am. We assumed either dead or heavily intoxicated . "Booked an executive double room which was very spacious and had a large bath too. A bit dated overall but clean and we had a lovely overnight stay. Dinner and breakfast were both good quality with gluten free options. I enjoyed using the pool and sauna (pre book) however disappointed the hot tub snd steam room were not in operation. Also, the spa was closed both Sunday and Monday. Hotel is set in extensive grounds and is a 15 minute walk into Aberfoyle. Plenty EV charging points at the hotel....

"Great location for exploring Pitlochry. Stayed in a Superior Double Room with Scenic View. Our room was a ground floor, which was really close to the swimming pool, so great for going to pool in swimming costume and a towel without needing to change. Lovely spacious large room with a comfy bed. The hotel is a little run down but that is also reflected in the price, so overall I was happy with what we paid and got. "Our room was just lovely! We had the cutest two twin beds room up on the second floor. The views were so nice from the windows. The shower was the best we’d had in Scotland. The breakfast was amazing! Seriously, the black pudding and haggis options were great. Our host, Greg, took care of everything for us. We will come back and stay again."
