"We totally enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. I can't say enough about the breakfasts. There was a buffet of lots of fresh fruit every day, a selection of cereals, and the cooked breakfasts to order were fabulous. We aren't drinkers, so we didn't go into the pub at all. There was a minor plumbing issue one evening, and they did everything possible to rectify it that evening. Unfortunately, the plumber wasn't able to get the part till the next day, but we...

We enjoyed chatting with her as we ate, and found her delightful and helpful. The farm setting is so peaceful (for us guest that is, a lot of hard work for owners), and the location is great for visiting the Lizard and other places around south Cornwall. "We've stayed at the Greenbank multiple times over the past couple of years so I feel like I can give a fair review of a typical experience. The staff are an absolute highlight: always friendly, polite and professional, from the desk staff to the restaurant staff to the cleaners. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are generously sized and equipped with everything you might need for a standard stay, plus a few nice extras. I particularly appreciate the wonderful smelling toiletries...

"I had a fantastic couple of days in Falmouth staying at Membly Hall Hotel whilst settling my daughter into the local university. My room was spacious and immaculate, the staff were welcoming and very friendly, and the included breakfast ranged from continental style to full English. I sat in the sea facing sun room for a few hours and enjoyed a sandwich platter from the bar menu. Happy to recommend this hotel for solo travel, as it was really comfortable and friendly."
