"Lovely spacious stay at this pub for my family, loved the little touches.. fresh milk in the room, with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Large comfy beds. Staff were very friendly, and we had dinner here too which was delicious and well priced. Only thing that let it down were the light curtains giving us an early wake up, a black out blind would be a perfect addition! Well located for Forbidden Corner and Druids Temple. "

"Stayed at Bay Horse for a day at Ripon Races, only 10 minutes drive from course. An old country inn, food was very good and landlord was a very nice person, room was nice and clean, bathroom a bit dated."

"The establishment is a carvery that does sunday roasts from Thursday to Sunday. I did not check this detail ahead of time and missed this detail. However the establishment is not too far from nearby cities that had amble dining options, but missing out on the roast experience was definitely regrettable. "It is perfectly located for the centre of Ripon and the lady checking us in was lovely. The room itself felt and smelt damp, the beds were not very comfortable and we couldn’t cover the window to make it dark which was an issue when getting our 1 year old to sleep. All that being said we would definitely stay there again because it made visiting Ripon on a tight budget possible and if we hadn’t had our daughter with us none of the above would have been an issue. "
