"Well. It’s an old beautiful building that is in desperate need of updating. It’s very tired in places. In its heyday I’m sure this was an amazing hotel but the owners need to re invest to bring this back to life. All in all it’s value for money and guess the clients that they attract aren’t so bothered. Overall Blackpool needs a complete makeover everywhere. Lots of dead boarded up hotels and properties."

"Booked through Expedia and stayed at The Savoy Hotel in Blackpool, and honestly it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. At 2 AM, the fire alarm went off and woke the entire hotel. Not one member of staff bothered to check on guests, reassure anyone, or even confirm whether there was an actual emergency.
