"The imperial is a lovely big hotel with so much character &history,it has everything you need .Its clean lovely and warm and so homely ,staff all friendly and helpful ,they all work so hard to keep this hotel so nice nothing we didnt like about the hotel .would definitely recommend it and we would definitely come back . The area the hotel is in would have once been so beautiful with beautiful architectures ,sad to see how its been left to go ,it needs some love put into it and fixing and cleaning up the collonades /access points to the beach. also needs some lighting to make it safe when its dark.needs bringing back to life make it beautiful as it once was ..the hotel still looks as stunning as it does on all the past old photos ."

"Reception staff when checking i feel was a bit rude, bed was super hard and very uncomfortable! Night staff absolutely amazing! Went out there way to help us with the bed situation, day staff on check out wonderful just a shame on the staff when we srrived "

"Such a lovely hotel very clean and modern, rooms were lovely too, we had 3 rooms all very new and fresh two with sea view which was great. Bathrooms lovely too all modern with showers. Staff were lovely and friendly the entertainment was great so we’re the entertainment staff. Music and bingo was great, drinks were flowing nicely. Only downfall was the lifts are tiny we had a wheelchair had to take the peddles of to get it in it just about fitted. We will definitely be staying there again "

"The half-board was excellent value for money with good food for dinner and breakfast. Also free entertainment and bar was excellent. The room was clean and looked recently refurbed with basic furniture as expected for the price and also had a great sea view and plenty coffees and teas. Good location with easy access to tram stop for central Blackpool. Some areas of the hotel are dated with narrow maze like corridors when I went up in wrong lift first time but otherwise a great hotel for the price. "
