"Wasn’t a hotel room was like a cheap motel out side shed , poorly maintained, bathroom was fitted by a blind man , no restaurant although advertised, feel really misled by the advert on here , "

"Lovely bar area and restaurant Staff were friendly. Be careful as rooms are outside of the hotel across the carpark with not great access. You have to walk across a muddy area to the rooms. The rooms do need updating but overall a pleasant stay."

"Excellent modern, clean hotel. Lovely spacious room and bathroom. Free parking. First time staying there so received code after 2pm, for check in after 3pm. The code accessed the building and our allocated room key. Kettle with coffee/tea in room. Electric shower. The room was spotless and spacious. Comfy beds. The only downside is approx 10 min walk to the town centre but pleasant nonetheless. Would recommend."

"We booked a last-minute 2-night stay at Heythrop Hotel & Spa in mid-April for a birthday, with a great deal including breakfast, dinner, and wine. The estate is beautiful and peaceful, with an impressive manor setting. Check-in was smooth, though parking can be a long walk—use the drop-off if needed. Our quiet North Wing room was comfortable, slightly warm but with opening windows, a nice bathroom, and handy night lighting. Facilities were excellent—we used the pool, hot tub, and steam room...

"We loved this little pub that was older than our country! The room was wonderful and spacious. We had dinner there which was yummy, especially the creme brûlée - it was better than the one I had in Harrods! The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again. It is opposite the church where Midsomer Murders is filmed. "

"A large, comfortable and beautiful room with an immaculate bathroom, in a convenient location, for the price of a much more basic brand. Usual gripe that in a family room for 4, they only give you two of everything (cups, bath towels), and that the pub is expensive (£4.20 for a soft drink, £7 for a beer etc), so the savings are offset at dinner."

"This is a great find, well thought out with lots of nice detail and touches such as generous sized towels, nice shower products and comfy mattresses. They even provide hair straighteners. My only small criticism is that the blinds don’t block out much light, and the waterproof mattress cover makes the sheets slide about and come completely off the bed during the night. But overall, really good and recommended."
