"The room was fine. My poor rating is the result of my interaction with the staff when checking in. I lost my temper, swore and walked about ten yards away, at which point I was told that the place employed security and I could be removed from the property. I was not threatening, and there was no recognition on the part of the staff that the hotel’s stance was unreasonable. I later saw online that the same issue has happened many times over the years, and that means that IHG can’t bring itself to avoid it. I don’t feel that I can trust IHG to treat me with respect. After nine hours on the road, with an aching back, tired and hungry, I stood in the lobby for over 15 minutes waiting to check in only to be told that my confirmed reservation (with confirmation email) would not be honored unless I called Expedia. Having tried and failed in the past to reach Expedia, I snapped. IHG shouldn’t treat customers like con artists. "

"Great resort for a family gathering. Cedar Creek upgrades have elevated the rooms, pool and general facility. Only challenge is that it is now a lot more popular - gaggles of volleyball girls in the halls and pool when we were there!"

"its was run down..the toilet backed up.my wife went to the front desk to tell them an he gave her as plunger..then the breakfast had cold eggs.the pool looked like it had not been cleaned in months...the key to the door did not work,,kids ran all over like its was a day care.. what as joke of a place to take...."

"Was the 3rd time I've stayed there but hotel room is showing wear and tear. Door did not feel secure when closed. Desk chair was disgusting so I couldn't work at desk. Breakfast was lame and even cookies were just Walmart bought. They could do better."
