Sutton guest house is a good place to stay.

Met by owner of property room was good plenty of room, bathroom shower good but no hot water from sink only lukewarm. Really liked kitchen facility downstairs so possible to cook your own meals if on a tight budget. Local hostellry serves great food but can be busy meaning a wait for orders.

When first booking I requested a certain room to cater for my personal needs and this was met with a personal and courteous message not long after making my booking confirmation and that if there was anything else to let them know. I was greeted very warmly by the owner upon check-in and shown around there beautiful guest house and what facilities there was available and then to my comfortable clean and smart room. I was very impressed with everything and even though I just stayed for a short work trip in Birmingham, what I really liked was the personal approach and how much I felt appreciated and welcomed as a guest from the start to the end of my stay. Nothing was too much trouble or fuss. I cannot recommend this guest house enough and if/when I ever return to Birmingham again I will be sure to only stay here.
