When I got there they asked did I want to see the room before I check in (never been asked that before so I was like ummmm sure) when I went in that room it was horror! It was covered and soaked in bugs spray, toilets dirty, everything was awful!! I ran out of there

The attendant William was very professional and presidential throughout the entire check-in and check out process. He physically verified that the room was clean and comfortable before he gave me the room keys. He displayed excellent customer service.

The alarm kept goiing off in the room next door. The guy in that room was so high on whatever that he couldnt hear it. I stayed 7 days. Within those 7..I had to call the front desk. To come knock on his door.literally kicking it to awakin the man. The alarm went of for hours.in the a.m and starting at 9 in the evening. Tried to het moved and I was told no abail...then called Hotels.com and got a free nite to use after 3 daus of checkout. Total disapoimtmemt. Hou pay to relax and cant relax

Loud neighbors

The room my traveling companions were in was extremely loud and they were unable to rest. And called the office several times but no matter what was said it didn't get better until the manager changed their room then they were able to rest the last two nights.

Accommodating

It was fair. 1st five nights was exstreamly noisey the guest were loud next door and above making it impossible to sleep at night or relax during the day. But when I spoke to management we were given a different room and that kindness made up for it. The other room I stayed in had no such problems.

The hotel rooms smelled like stale Smoke. The elevator was very creepy and got stuck between floors. The staff was not very friendly. They said when I booked they excepted Animals then when I checked in they don't. But after staying 2 nights 60 percent of the residents had pets.

OMG

the room comes equipped with a full kitchenette minus dishes, pans, cups, silverware. The room has a queen size bed that is the size of a full size bed. the bathroom has 2 towels and 2 rags. You must laundry your own towels and rags. Toilet paper is not supplied. House keeping comes once a week if they feel like it. All non smoking rooms come with burnt everything and a wonderful smoke smell. This truly helps the aroma coming from the sewage plant across the street. Do not show up past 7. I called ahead to let them know I would be late and was politely informed this would not be a issue. All I had to do was call the number on the door and I would be assisted. 2.5 hours after I arrived someone finally came to help me. The tv does have a decent selection of stations and if you cant find anything on all you have to do is step out side. The drunks the hang out nightly are entertaining, every other night someone will OD and be rushed to the ER, the continuous domestic violence is a bit of a disappointment. The absolute best thing about this place is the exit drive.

Sun Suites-Birmingham, AL.

This place is a complete dump and that is being kind. There is a sewage treatment facility right across the street and if the wind is coming from that direction you will be sick and that is one of the small problems I saw. The room floor had not been cleaned in months, curtains and bed spread had holes, dirty shower, I killed 2 spiders, no towels of any kind and when I went to the front office they only had 1 bath towel and no hand towels or wash cloths available and asked me to come back in 11/2 hours. The towel they did have had been washed but looked like in it's previous life it was a mechanics hand rag. I've been traveling for over 30 years and this dump takes the cake for all time low. The "staff" were far less than courteous and did not care at all about service and would stand talking to another worker and let you wait. There is no way to explain how dissatisfied I am but if you want to stay in a complete dump you really should give this bad joke a try.

It was terrible

When we arrived the hotel the local sewar plant smell nearly killed us. Upon entering our room there were no shades on the bedside lamps., sheets,but no blankets on the bed, 1 towel in the bathroom, electric outlet was uncovered - no plate; coffee maker but no coffee pot, the bathroom was dirty, bathtub still had water setting in the bottom, the TV had only 2 channels and the remote did not work. And all of these things wrong, and the hotel will NOT refund us our $116.30 for staying there. DON"T STAY THERE - They are not who they present themselves to be.

hotel close to walmart

i never got any clean towel, they said they were out to bring dirty ones down i did but they close after that. my room never got cleaned even though i was gone all day. the staff was rude to me.

My only issue was the facility was non-smoking

Overall, i enjoyed my stay and would recommend it 2 non-smokers only! There should at least be a smoking area for those who choose to smoke.
