Powerful shower and very hot water. Breakfast was great, with choices of full English, Vegan, cereals etc. I would highly recommend the Village Inn to everybody looking for somewhere to stay...

The Golden Fleece Hotel, Thirsk, North Yorkshire

10/10 Excellent

"Our stay was absolutely lovely & memorable! With 2 veterinarians in our family (soon 3, with son having 6 months to go in veterinary school), we felt right at home in the land of James Herriot. Our charming, 2nd floor room was located in "The Mews," the rear, off-street section of hotel. We deduced our quiet room was part of the 18th-19th century hayloft above the hotel's original stable. This was a prominent coaching inn, with stabling for up to 60 horses! I can't say anything negative since our experience was amazing. The restaurant, pub & staff were great! The bath towel warmer was an added treat. Humorously, counter space was nonexistent, but it was easily improvised by moving the ironing board into the huge bathroom. Voilà!"

Parkmore Hotel & Leisure Club, Sure Hotel Collection by BW

Blackwell Grange Hotel

"Staff, food and hotel was fantastic"

The Kings Head Hotel, Richmond, North Yorkshire

8/10 Good

"The hotel reception, outside area, bar and restaurant were all great. The room was clean, the bathroom had been updated and was fine. The windows needed drastic attention, we could not move them due to the state of repair, I assume there is some sort on 'listed building status' but they really need attention. The location and everything else was great."

Northallerton Motel

10/10 Excellent

"New refurbished room, clean. Helpful reception desk. Lots of parking, free."

Station Suites

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel is right by the train station and central to town. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was included too. Will definately return when next in town"

The Ripon Inn - The Inn Collection Group

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful hotel and great staff lovely food 😋"

Redworth Hall Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Great stay at Redworth hall, would recommend"

Manor House Hotel

8/10 Good

"Basic double courtyard rooms. Spacious rooms but standard double beds - though from the indentations on the carpet in mine, a Queen or King resided there before. Even so, the base "flat" sheets did not fit the mattress to the head exposing no protector. Total lack of information in my room (27) that was there in our daughter's (25) regarding wifi access and other info. I had to wash a tea cup in my room that had a sticky residue at the bottom of it and clear lip residue around the rim. No mixer taps for the bath or basin - fine. I'm British - I can "mix my own bath". But there is something uniquely annoying about a hand basin where the taps are set so far back the water only just reaches the basin. The blind in my room was functional but lop-sided and needs attentjon."
