A relaxing time

We had a great time. The villa was comfortable and quiet which was what we wanted. Loved the private pool and the landscaping - lots of tropical greenery. Staff were helpful and friendly - the system of sending messages to the front desk via WhatsApp worked well!

Best value for money pool villa

The staff from the driver to the reception were phenomenal! It was not highly rated because it is an older villa, but for the price compared to other villas it is exceptional! Our driver Iskandar took us for lunch at a local place that was good and cheap. The reception offered to purchase belinjo chips for us at the market so we don't have to pay tourist prices. the property is close to Lagoi beach where there are cheaper local restaurants and cafes. The pool at the Signature villa is nice and big. There are also 2 bathrooms with 2 separate bathtubs and showers for our 2 bedroom villa. The cleanliness level could be improved, but all in all we had an enjoyable stay.

Loved this place.. The room is very clean. Room service is great The only downside is... The in house massage is terrible. They just. Briefly go through the whole body for 3min for each part the body. We ordered a 90mins massage

Everything was good. My second stay here and recommended my family to stay over too as their first time. Service was good but housekeeping could definitely be much better. There were things thrown away but not replaced and some amenities like glasses/plates were not available in our room. Even after asking, we did not receive them, but that was okay, I guess since our stay was short.

The villa was absolutely beautiful (besides some mould on the ceilings, frogs in the swimming pool area that can enter the bathroom and were found in the bathtub every night and monkeys rummaging through our leftovers). It’s walking distance to the beach but we did not swim there due to the strong current and bad weather. But other than that, there is nothing much to do at Plaza Lagoi - it’s dead there with not many shops or food options. Dinner options are limited around the area especially after 7pm. Nevertheless, I would still recommend Kamuela Villas! My husband and I had a great time and all the staff were lovely. Thanks again!

Wonderful and clean hotel

Pool Villa was really clean, staff there were really friendly and responsive. We are able to WhatsApp the front desk directly and they assisted us in making reservations and helped us with our queries. There’s also free pickup and drop off at the ferry terminal which was really helpful. Unfortunately the lagoi bay shopping area was deserted and there were only 2-3 restaurants open by the beach. They were pretty decent though, food was good and not too expensive. Check out Warung Yeah if you’re there. Hotel was beautiful and well maintained. This is a good place to book for 2nights and if you just want to relax in your room during your stay. Massage was reasonably priced too and they would come to your room. Breakfast was also included and they would deliver to your room. Skip the western options, they do the Indonesian food better

Run-down Hotel with Potential

This is an old property with a lot of potential. The rooms are lovely but run-down. There were a lot of things broken in the room and stuff that needed updating. The pool was in rough shape as was the rest of the outside. Food on-site was excellent, staff were good for the most part. They screwed up and did not clean our room, we asked them to do it at 4pm and went to the beach for a while, came back and it was not done. Then they came at 6pm and asked if we wanted it cleaned then. We had a candlelight dinner arranged for 8pm, it did not show up. We finally called the front desk and they said it would be there in 5 minutes, 35 minutes later it showed up. The food was great and they did give us 20% off for the mess up. This property could be so nice if they would just put a little work into it. Oh, and the beds are rock hard...like laying on the ground outside!

We were greeted by the reception and the staff tried giving us an early check-in as we reached the villa early. Lucky for us, our villa was ready at 12.30 pm. The interior of the villa is nice. Private swimming pool to our own. The living room was separated from the sleeping area. However, we did not stay out in the living room much as it was too hot and there were too many mosquitos. BBQ is also available in the villa but can be quite pricey but the portion is decent. Breakfast is also served in the villa and there are plenty of options to choose from. There is a free ride to and fro from the ferry terminal and the drivers are very polite and would recommend you to places in Bintan to enjoy. However, getting around the Island could be quite costly as there are no grab or gojek services there for customers to enjoy. You can only look for the villa cab to bring you around the island if you want to go out of the villa. There are not many activities for you to do near the resort as the shopping plaza there has closed due to COVID-19 and you can only play the water activities at the beach if the sea condition is good. Warung Yeah restaurant nearby is good and affordable if you wish to try the local food. All in all, a decent location to stay at but there might be nothing to do in the area at night.

Staff were friendly and provided impeccable service. They were very accommodating as well. However, we faced the issue of a leaking villa so hotel management could consider performing better and more regular maintenance of the villas.

Lovely Weekend Getaway

This was our first time to Bintan so we didn't have any idea what to expect. We were already very glad to not be staying at a crowded resort hotel as we really needed some peace and quiet. The Kamuela staff were super helpful and friendly with everything and our villa was lovely. The villa was immaculately clean and quiet, food was delivered straight to our door and we appreciated the WhatsApp communication method. We look forward to staying there again!

A nice villa for family to stay and chill in. Nothing in plaza lagoi as all shops are closed. There's 2 mini marts around the area and 3 restaurant that can be dine if you stay around there. You can email the hotel for free transfer. All staffs are very friendly.
