"This place was so nice and cozy, i would say better than the pictures even. Fireplaces upstairs and downstairs were a hit, and it was super quiet at nice. A great place to get away and rest. We even extended our stay and had them deliver more firewood it was so nice. I would gladly return, or at least see what else Cool Cabins has to offer. Close to the lake and shops nearby, but away from traffic and backs onto the forest. Whats not to like?"

"The cottage was kind of close to the state route, so it was a little noisy. The room was all right, I had trouble with the heater in the room that I stayed in. But besides that it was all right."

"The property was clean and close to all the amenities of Big Bear Lake. The bed was not on a bed frame and the mattress was warned out. It felt like I was sleeping in a canoe. There was no dresser nor closet to put clothes. I had to live out of a suitcase. I will not recommend this place to family nor friends."

"It was good, but there were definitely some bad impressions. Once we booked via Expedia, we were sent a link to a lengthy check-in contract. We learned upon arrival that we were required to take out the trash, and the drop-off location is 15 minutes from the property! That's ridiculous. We have been to Big Bear many times and have stayed at various vacation rentals; we have never been required to take out our own trash. For the price and all the caveats, I am not sure I can recommend."

"The house was very beautiful and check in/out was very accommodating. Fireplace and home was clean and had enough pans to cook as well as cups / forks knives and seasonings which was a plus. Just a few things that we had issues with ; ceilings upstairs were sloped where the beds were so my husband kept banging his head. If you’re trying to be quiet upstairs you cannot because the floors creak really bad but that’s common in the cold for hardwood floors. The upstairs had only a tub so in...

"Esta bonita muy cómoda solo que el sofá cama necesita cambiarse por lo demás esta bien"

"The stove is very old and not all burners work and one oven doesn’t work. The smaller oven did work. No dustpan to help sweet the floor and the brooms were very old and needed to be replaced "

"It was really cold, the rooms were very cold and it was hard to keep it warm"

"Liked: 4 rooms for our 9 people. Good kitchen space. Plenty of real beds and no need to sleep on couches. New spacious fridge. DISLIKED: The entire place is DIRTY. Dusty floors, spider-webbed ceilings in bedrooms, leaf-littered property including pool table area. Special mention to the NASTY BBQ grill even AFTER calling for cleaning. Useless BBQ tools provided; had to buy own brushes and tongs. Offered firewood but no chimney tools. Dangerously hot running water. The only shower in the...
