" Lovely rooms, brilliant staff. Good selection of beers, great food, evening and breakfast. Nice area to stay, High Street packed with shops,restaurants and other drinking establishments. The Grapevine Jaz bar down the road for cocktails, the steam train round the corner and the Old Dairy Tap House on its doorstep. Perfect👍"

"Absolutely stunning property for those who like a bit of history. Host was so accommodating to our needs. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and we felt so relaxed making the most of the roll top bath. Breakfast was top drawer (loved the sausages especially). Nothing to fault. We’re already booked in for next year!"

Dianna and her amazing team even helped out by washing and drying some clothing. Mid way through my work trip it was as a relief to know I had clean business and personal clothing. "What a great stay! The room was lovely, spacious, clean and really nicely decorated. The breakfast hamper was a lovely touch. The bathroom was massive and had a bath in it as well as a shower which was great. I really wasn’t expecting it to be so good as the price was low. We would definitely stay again. "

As I am recovering from knee surgery, she kindly offered us a downstairs room with easier access, which made a huge difference to my comfort.
