The hotel was great! Can't beat it for the price. Pool was nice! The hot tub is under construction so that was understandable. We never ate breakfast there so can't comment on that. Room was great! Bathtub was very clean!! Beds were very comfortable! We stayed for 4 nights and we were very happy with our stay. The host was extremely nice and accommodating!

We always stay there when we go to Davenport ...it's all ways our to go hotel...always clean and friendly staff...and u can't beat the price...it's great for us even though we are not in our room that much...i would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean hotel at a reasonable price....

The outside was was beautiful this time of year. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast offered was adequate/good for us. We didn't have a chance to experience the pool, but it looked nice. This is a budget hotel so our expectations were below what was the actuality. We would come back here in a heartbeat. Very pleasant experience.

Reception upon arrival was friendly and fast. Free breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs, sausage and pancakes was good. Other breakfast items were in very small quantities. No fruit. Room was not serviced on on our two-day stay…beds were not made and fresh towels were not provided.

Comfortable stay but needs some maintenance

I will say that the room itself was very comfortable. Bed was amazing, fridge and microwave were great. My biggest complaint would be that the towels provided in the room were badly stained and soiled. I did bring this to the attention of the front desk who took the towels and said housekeeping would take care if my room. That never happened so I had to again go to the front desk to get clean towels and coffee. It's an older hotel that does need some maintenance and cleaning but the staff was nice and room comfortable.

Overall this is a fairly good value considering the price of hotel rooms today. The room was clean and comfortable, conveniently located for our travel and we paid at least $50 less than a comparable chain. The TV went thru a 35-40 setup process with DirecTv which was annoying but it worked fine once completed. I assume it had never been set up and it would have been nice if the hotel would have completed this prior to any guests stay. There are soaps and shampoos in the shower which is nice, but the body wash was completely empty so again, would have preferred the hotel had better prepared this room before our stay. Not sure I would stay at a SureStay anywhere else, but this one was OK.

Overall good - with "reservations"

Hotels.com AND Expedia each reserved two ACCESSIBLE rooms(the facility only has TWO) so I initially was denied - the staff went out of their way to accommodate me - minor problems with room - TV didn't work until 3rd repair attempt, room floor wasn't clean, shower never git better than lukewarm, and cleaning crew came into room ONLY to take "privacy" sign off the inner doorknob and place it on the outer doorknobs - no cleaning or restocking...

Safety concerns

I never fill these out but i thought it was important to on this one because of safety reasons. I had no complaints. Its a basic affordable hotel, clean enough. It said it had free breakfast but only had toast and cereal. However what i didn't like was the back door to the hotel didnt lock. Anyone from the street could get into the back door of the hotel. I didn't like that. I told the hotel manager twice. He acted like someone was coming eventually to fix it.
