"Should have believed the other reviews--I literally had to call the hotel to get someone to check me in and out (no one at the desk), the whole place smelled and my room had an unpleasant odor, the walls were VERY thin and I could hear clearly the TV in multiple other rooms throughout the night, something in the bathroom was dripping but I was too tired to try and fix that, the floor looked/felt gross, I was glad that I didn't need to use the shower, the microwave was pretty gross, and the window didn't feel real securely locked for being on the first floor (I know because I opened it to try and get some fresh air in). I went in with low expectations, even brought my own sheets based on others' reviews, and they still managed to not meet my expectations. Can't speak to the breakfast since I left before it was available. Parking was fine, other than there was a sign that made me turn into the wrong parking lot initially."

"This hotel had a very elegant modern vibe while encapsulating the big city bustle, it was very convenient to the stadiums, the arch and the river. The only downfall which is not their fault is the dilapidated hotel right across the street, definitely an eyesore but hopefully the city will have an amazing opportunity to revitalize that area! But back to this idea hotel, it was very clean and comfortable! "

"Property was great, loved our room, very clean. I rarely leave negative reviews, but the lady who checked us in was incredibly rude. First i was waiting in line, and i could already tell the gentlemen in front of me was frustrated with her attitude. Then it was my turn, I only asked her if we could check in early so we could park our car and walk to the arch. She rolled her eyes several times at me while her very annoyed tone read off the policies. Which i could barely understand cause she clearly didnt want to be there. I didnt mind paying a little early, since we got there an hour early. But there was no need to be so rude about it. I work in customer service, and to me theres zero excuse to ever visibly roll your eyes at a customer, let alone several times. I later went down in hopes she wasnt there, so i could go over all the policies again with a different staff member. Thankfully it was someone else, he was very kind, and very helpful. I thanked him, and the other lady as we checked out the next day. "

"I really like the look of the hotel and the room was clean and huge. My only complaint was it took two hours to bring towels and would’ve taken longer if I didn’t call again. The Bistro hours are lame. The meatballs did not look anything like the picture and was way over priced $15 for 5 They were frozen meatballs I could get 30 of them at Walmart for $3. Food came in huge take out containers even though we were eating there. The service was slow! Maybe I would stay again but would not go to the Bistro."

"Clean room, microwave, fridge, and coffemaker were perfect. Clean, comfortable bed, great pillows, and a good breakfast. No chrome cast for the TV, bring an hdmi cable."

"Maybe the shining light (of many) of this property is that the Metro rail line is almost right outside of the hotel door. It is really about a 5-7 minute walk away, and exceedingly convenient. I was able to take the Metro from the airport right to the hotel. I was not expecting that, and it made my stay so much easier...along with the friendly and helpful hotel staff. The room was very clean and wonderful as was the lobby. Good security measure by making entrance to the hotel contingent on having a hotel room key at night. Same with entrance into the elevator. A really nice added bonus was the food available at the nearby casino. But really...having that rail line right next to the hotel was great and allowed me to not have to rent a car during my stay to St. Louis. I would not hesistate to stay here again."
