"A lovely old house in a secluded village in Normandy, with a few spacious rooms that have been tastefully refurbished. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast is good, although I would have preferred it to be served a little earlier.
The one area that could be improved is the amenities, which are almost non-existent. There was no soap, no shampoo, and very little else provided in the room.
Nevertheless, the overall experience was very positive and pleasant. The location...

"Fundamentally a large (busy) pool with a hotel attached. Strange smell pervades common parts. Functional rather than opulent. Bright lighting everywhere. Small, well appointed rooms with comfortable beds. Small lifts too, lengthy waits to change floors. Mostly clean but we encountered a few unwelcome hairs in the bath, and the hot water was not very hot! Unappetising breakfast which we declined, but they tried charge us nethertheless. So an average experience which we will not be...
