Once we got access the holiday apartment, we found it a convenient base to explore Berlin. It was within walkable distance of the S-bahn station, and in a quiet residential area. However, our first impressions were spoiled by poor communication from our hosts and a clear, but unacknowledged, double booking. We were unable to occupy the booked accommodation until the day after arrival. There was no refund or compensation for the inconvenience and disruption to our stay. The pretext offered for the delay in the apartment being available was to allow sufficient time for cleaning. There were clearly other guests still in residence on the day of our booked arrival, and when we did get access, the apartment had not been adequately cleaned as there was food waste in the second bedroom. Also, there were no towels, though these were provided a day later.

Only one roll of toilet paper, two small towels. No one to communicate with and sauna wasnt available until the weekend and when i requested it for friday night no one responded to me.
