"Nice hotel in a convenient location very close to the train station. Clean with good air-conditioning, which was helpful as we were there during a very hot time. On a busy street with no view. We had a bit of an issue in which there was a citywide festival while we were there with a DJ stand literally underneath our window which pumped music until 2:30 AM. While we were told there was a festival in the city that weekend it was not made clear the level of disruption and noise this would create. While they eventually gave us a discount on our room, we would have stayed elsewhere had we known."

Hotel Bären Am Bundesplatz

"Wonderful hotel worth a prime location. Just a few blocks from the Bahnhof, Bundesplatz right across the street, and just blocks from everything else. The lobby provides free still and sparkling water. There were free drinks and cookies upon check in. And there was free ice cream being offered because of the ongoing heatwave. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay."

"We only stayed in Bern one night, but had a very comfortable stay at the Savoy. It was in a great location-walkable to sites and restaurants. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We hope to return to Bern for a longer stay at some point in the future and we’ll stay here again!"

"Located beside train station which is super convenient. I stayed one night and got the apartment closest to station. Wasn't a problem for me but light sleepers beware. When I walked in the first thing I noticed was a lingering food smell. Would have appreciated if the apartment was aired out for incoming guests. The cleanliness of the shower was also a little suspect with hair and streaks of dirt. Everything else seemed clean. Bed was medium firm and comfy. Communal area is interesting and I liked being able to grab extra amenities that I needed."
