Nice clean room & very nice breakfast. Location is good for public transport & there's a public (paid) parking nearby. Hotel is quiet and clean, with a great view from the restaurant & roof top. However, the room is missing a coffee machine/kettle.

The staff were friendly, but the room was odd — there was no curtain or divider for the shower so everything in the bathroom got wet, there were not nearly enough shelves or places to hang towels, not enough outlets near the bed, and the decor was a bit off putting. The breakfast was good.

Location is a bit hard to access and had construction in area. Despite this, the stat was good. The hotel has a unique vibe, comfortable rooms and an amazing breakfast as well. Good place to stay in Bergen, which is a must visit in Norway.

Rooms were small and painted black with odd, tired furnishings. Rooms could have been better cleaned too. Breakfast was a good selection but not enough staff to keep up with refilling everything and tidying tables so lots of people ended up wandering round looking for a spare table or someone to ask for forks etc.

Positives - A nice spacious room with a good view. Clean and quiet. Staff were friendly and stored our luggage in the last day. Close to a convenient tram stop with trams every ten minutes at least. It’s just a short ride into the centre of the town from here. Negatives - TV didn’t have Netflix and there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. These were sorely missed. Breakfast was okay, but not very varied or exciting - it would have been nice to have some local delicacies to try.

We stayed two days. Staff was very welcoming and pleasant. Went extra to help us. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful The washrooms had tiny shower and sink. Not of great quality. Just soap in bathroom and shower. No shampoo or lotion No air conditioning.Our room had big windows and south facing. 2 out of 5 window shades were broken. It is a bit of walk to downtown and tram station. Had dinner at Bien and liked it.

Not a prize! Parking was terrible! No elevator to garage and had to go outside and walk down and up a dirt path every time we left or returned. No way to make coffee or tea in the room. One electric plug in room, and we both use CPAP machines; thank goodness we had our own extension cord. Restaurant food was good, and staff was very helpful,

Loved the hotel and location. The hotel restaurant's food was very good. The breakfast buffet was very good as well. Staff were exceptional. The room was very nice and the view was absolutely stunning. There was a supermarket right in the same parking lot which was very very convenient. I wish there was a shuttle bus because the walk up the steep hill with suitcases were a workout. Other than that, I would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable overnight stay

The buffet breakfast was nice, on the 5th floor where one could get a nice view of the surrounding neighborhood. The presence of a supermarket next door was also nice. But it is a long 30 min walk from the train station, the rain doesn't help, and really not near the shops and sights.

Downside: The room was lacking in plug sockets, we only had a double socket by the window but because we are from UK and need to use adaptor plug it then meant we couldn't use the 2 Nd socket as blocked by adapter. Would be helpful to have plug sockets or charging point for phone by bedside
