This property is extremely cute and quirky!! My family loved staying here. The rooms were spacious and well maintained, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were funky and clean. This was a great place to stay.

Loved this Hotel!

Excellent staff and they assisted any need we had. The place is gorgeous and if we ever make it back to Bergen we would stay here again.

Unique decor, friendly staff and a la carte breakfast. Place to spread out upstairs away from public with coffee maker and lots of seating. Very comfortable rooms. Best shower ever and the pillows were great.

I can't say enough great things about the Charmante Hotel! We stayed there for our honeymoon and everything was just perfect. The staff is kind and welcoming, and went above and beyond our expectations to accommodate my wife's allergies, even making a special cappuccino with oat milk as the lounge coffee maker did not have that option. The rooms were gorgeous and comfortable, with a great music playlist to set the mood! We will absolutely stay here again the next time we are in Bergen!

This hotel looked a bit funky to me in the photos but my wife insisted we try it (so we did). I am so glad I listened to her. This hotel is unique, charming and fun. It felt like going back to the Belle Epoque with its lavish and fine decor/details. It was fun just hanging out in and exploring the hotel- don’t miss the atmospheric “secret” speakeasy upstairs! We had a very fine dinner in their main restaurant and included breakfasts were also excellent. The staff were extremely professional and accommodating. The hotel is perfectly situated in central Bergen within walking distance of everything. Highly recommend!

This has to be one of our favourite hotels ever. The staff make it, they are all so welcoming, friendly and fun. The quirky decorations are brilliant and the food is absolutely superb. Plus the location is so central and convenient for exploring Bergen.

An absolutely beautiful, luxurious, all-things-thought-of experience. Gorgeous and comfortable, and relatively affordable. HOWEVER, the recommended parking is a ten minute walk away, with wheeled suitcases hauled over cobblestones in the driving rain. So be sure to drop off your bags first before parking, although this and pick up can be made difficult now that the city has clamped down on cars in that area. AND, be sure to ask if your room will be situated above a party or club lasting until 4am. I did not sleep a wink, though everything was otherwise superb.

I chose Hotel Charmante because it looked groovy. We were not disappointed. The decor was very cool! We felt like we were in the 1920's Paris instead of Bergen, Norway. The food, service and location were excellent!

Loved this hotel . Changed room due to noise on street Friday night. Next room very quiet. This hotel is unique however rooms need complementary bottled water, tissues and shower cap. Breakfast amazing and Alesha receptionist went above and beyond to assist me change rooms.

Amazing boutique hotel. Great ambiance, lovely and helpful staff. The room (petite chambre) was beautifully decorated and very well appointed. Simple things like having enough space to put your things and plenty of electrical outlets, as well as thoughtful things like the automatic light in the bathroom that shone with red light after bedtime to not interfere with your sleep cycle. It is well located and close to transit. Breakfast was delicious. Do not hesitate to book a room here.

Our room was the grand chamber. It was the largest bed weve seen. The room was large & very quiet.The deco was very Parisienne and fun. I was unwell during our stay. The staff were so helpful & friendly. Getting me cups tea ( complmentary) and soup delivered to my room. Highly recommend

Unfortunately i was so sick for our entire trip to Norway... but this was the nicest possible hotel to be sick in! Staff were so kind and accomodating. Even though they dont generally do room service, when my fiance told them i was sick so we would have to miss our resesrvation, they beought food for us to the room! 10/10 experience.
