It is a great place for wondering travelers and families around the world to enjoy the best Bergen has to offer. I was there mostly for business and did not get to enjoy their wonderful indoor/outdoor activities. The breakfast was good with various choices. I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling for leisure. Affordable, close to downtown Bergen and good transportation all around.

The Montana Hostel in Bergen is a solid choice. The rooms are nice and tidy; ours had a private bathroom. The shared kitchen and the laundry services were great and we put them to good use. The free breakfast in the morning was also pretty good with a nice selection of bread, cheese, fruits, juices, yogurt, coffee etc. The game room was nice and we ended up spending a lot of time there. The views of Bergen from the outdoor areas of the hostel were simply amazing. Free parking onsite was a really nice perk with bus stop nearby taking you to Bergen city center.

We had a great time and make new friends in this place. Breakfast were awesome, activities great for all ages, location super good as it is located within the 12 bus route that runs every 15 min. The room and the facilities clean and well maintained. We would come back any time if opportunity arise. Also, could not think of a better place to celebrate Norway’s victory during the World Cup!

A really good hostel just outside the main city of Bergen but a short walk away to bus transport and also a small Bunnpris shop for food items, etc. Was perfect for my weekend in the area, especially with even being close to the Ulriken mountain tram/path to the summit - staff were helpful with check in/out, plus the shared female dorm room I stayed in was comfortable and with a good toilet/shower room and bunkbeds. And of course the free breakfast was perfect to have too in starting my day and also shared kitchen with fridges to store food, etc!
