Top Bennington Hotel Reviews

Hampton Inn Bennington
10/10 Excellent
"This is the very best place to stay in Bennington. It is spotless, offers free breakfast. and has very helpful staff."

Brittany Motel
8/10 Good
"Older motel not too far from the center of town. Motel is operated remotely. If I hadn't run into a resident guide, I would have had a problem getting into my room. There was a phone number on the wall in the community kitchen.
I stayed in room one closest to the main road. Typical Expedia room either by the road, next to an elevator shaft or across from the indoor pool (I have snagged all three types of rooms over the years).
Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There were few outlets and the only and closest outlet to the bed was a worn-out double outlet next to the room door. The outlet was so worn out that my iPhone charger just fell out of the plug. I ended up using the outlet in the bathroom."

Hotel Vervana, Trademark Collection by Wyndham
8/10 Good
"I liked the property
Convenient to town
Staff nice
Not a good tv in the room I had"

The Inn at Manchester
6/10 Okay
"This is a New England bed and breakfast. There are no amenities as it's in the countryside. Buildings are charming but old so reviews need to consider that. Lovely. Not far from where the Von Trapp family settled. Manchester is a charming NE town."

Aspen At Manchester
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean room. All amenities needed and working well. Comfortable bed. Great value! Easy to get in by key code. No staff interaction except for online checkin instructions since no staff in person on property. Would stay again."

The Autumn Inn
8/10 Good
"Staff was incredibly helpful, room was very clean and comfy. I was surprised at how new and nice the bathroom was. Even had a fancy light up mirror that had a defroster built in. My only complaint is that my first shower was only Luke-warm and my second shower in the morning did not Happen as there was no hot water available. I’m guessing that everyone staying there decided to shower all around the same time that morning leaving no more hot water in the tank. Overall a good stay, bed was comfy and clean, tv and lights all worked as they should."

The Palmer House Resort, an Ascend Collection Hotel
2/10 Terrible
"I am a family travel blogger who stays in hotels frequently with my husband and two young daughters. This was the most disappointing hotel experience we have had. We booked this stay for Mother’s Day weekend and arrived expecting a comfortable, family-friendly experience. From the moment we arrived, the property appeared noticeably run-down compared to what was advertised online. When we entered the lobby, there was a sign at the front desk stating, “Helping another customer. Be right back.” We waited approximately 15 minutes with no staff member present before leaving to take our children elsewhere and returning later. Upon returning, the front desk informed us that although I had reserved a king room with a sleeper sofa, the reservation had been entered for only two guests. I explained that we were traveling with our young kids and expected the sleeper sofa to accommodate them. Rather than offering flexibility or assistance, we were told the only option was to purchase an additional adjoining room.
What made this especially frustrating was that the hotel appeared nearly empty, with very few cars in the parking lot and clearly many available rooms. As a traveling family arriving on Mother’s Day weekend, the interaction felt unnecessarily rigid and financially motivated rather than customer-focused or accommodating. We no longer felt comfortable staying at the property and chose instead to leave. Because the reservation was made through Hotels.com we were not given a refund."
