"Dies war "formell" das beste Hotel unserer Portugalreise aber in Wirklichkeit das schlechteste. Vorteil ist nur die Lage direkt am Strand. Wir hatten vorher per Mail und auch vor Ort um ein ruhiges Zimmer gebeten. Wir haben ein Zimmer 3 Meter vom Parkplatz über der Bowlingbahn und neben der Abluft der Küche erhalten. Schlafen geht also nur nach Bowlingende und der Balkon ist nicht wirklich nutzbar. Am zweiten Tag war dann noch eine Abschlussfeier einer Schule im Hotel - mit allem was so...

"The good points about the hotel were the breakfast, the staff, who were helpful and the rooms which were for the most part well maintained. We had several very positive interactions with the front desk and on the whole they met our needs. The location is pretty good and there is access to a sandy beach at low tide. "I booked well in advance and was able to get a twin room with balcony for single use at a very good price. The view from the balcony was NOT picturesque, however it faced a side street it was very quiet.  I understand that rooms without balconies face the main road and traffic noise can be a concern.   There was no balcony furniture, so I couldn’t really sit out there unless I pulled the sizeable desk chair out.  The room was a good size and didn’t feel claustrophobic at all.  The bathroom was...

"Frühstück und Zimmer waren gut und das Personal immer sehr höflich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel könnte etwas gepflegter sein, vielleicht sollte man die Teppichböden entfernen… sonst haben wir uns wohl gefühlt und gut geschlafen. Es liegt etwas außerhalb, wir konnten aber fussläufig alles gut erreichen . Das Fitnessstudio sah super aus, wir hatten aber zu wenig Zeit, es zu nutzen…"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Flag Design Hotel in Viana. The staff is super friendly and the hotel very comfortable. Perfectly located at the center of the city, clean and convenient. We appreciated we could watch the FIFA World Cup games from the room or cafeteria and loved the library and conference rooms as we needed to do some work/study. 100% recommended! "This hotel is a little gem. As the name would suggest chocolate plays a major role in both the design of the rooms and the offerings at breakfast time. The rooms are large and well appointed whilst the breakfast, with or without chocolate, will set you up for the day. There is a small museum about chocolate manufacturing on site as well. I’d be happy to stay here again."
