One of the most special and unique guesthouses I have ever slept at. I had a really lovely experience in this place, admiring the collections of the owner, work of his hands, chilling on the terrace with nature sounds. Raymond is very helpful, attentive and happy to share about his experience with creating this place which to me was really awesome.
The room has all you need, spacious compfy bed and equipped bathroom. Very much worth visiting!
Unique and interesting guesthouse in the mountains
Very interesting and unique place to stay. This small guesthouse is a comfortable one-man operation that feels more like home rather than a hotel. Raymond is full of stories about Lebanon, photography, the region and himself. A great place to relax in the middle of a trip around Lebanon. The area itself is beautiful and very peaceful. The rooms are seriously unique and different.
it was a unique experience to say the least. we were mezmerized by the beauty of the place and the history and hard work behind it. what was more amazing is we got to speak to the owner who told us many amazing stories of life journeys and destinies in life. we will definitely come back every year
Cosy place. The owner takes care of each guest in a very friendly and hospitable manner.
Interesting place with lots of antiques. Owner actually built it all on his own.
The house is so cluttered like a hoarder's heaven that you can't put your phone down and find it again easily. There is hardly any table or counter space. It had some beautiful decor and ideas but like a hoarder its like they didn't know when to stop. Bedding and rugs didn't feel clean. There is absolutely nothing but the view of the valley. The owner charged us 50 dollars for an omelette and rotisserie chicken and salad. The Intercontinental was cheaper. There was no wifi. The owner spoke non stop for hours about how accomplished, rich, and successful he is. We were just stunned. His mother was a lovely kind woman who cooked the meal. If they clear up some space, get wifi, and brag a bit less, it can be a lovely place.
Everything about the hotel is unique. It moves you into an imaginary world. The owner and his mum are very friendly and treat their guests as family.
The area is fascinating. It's very close to Beirut.
