"Our experience at Fishtail Lodge is as second to none. The setting on the Fewa Lake was a tranquil oasis and a much needed change of pace. I don’t think I have ever stayed at a more ideal location , close to town…restaurants and shopping but the most relaxing local surrounded by water and forest. Staff could not be more helpful with any request big or small. Highest praise for this hotel!"

"The establishment upholds commendable standards, yet it is essential to consider its secluded location, the elevated prices of food available on the premises, and its geographic setting in Nepal. Bearing these aspects in mind, I contend that a justifiable rate per night would be capped at $100 USD. Should the cost exceed this threshold as it was at over 200USD , I would anticipate a comprehensive package inclusive of all amenities and services. "

"Perfect way to unwind after trekking. Free fruit platter. Staff was always attentive. Suggest more reasonable prices / packages for laundry especially given that lots of trekkers will be interested in using it. But if you do stay know many laundry services will wash and fold for 200 rupees per kilo. "

"Everything was perfect But i requested a birthday cake for my wife and management said they would arrange it but till the day we left. No one responded nor tried to arrange it and front desk didnt even know about it. Communication was horrible."

"This may have been the nicest place I stayed in Nepal, but I only stayed at a couple other places, and it is 4 star at best. The place itself was nice, but for shower hot water I had to call the desk each day to get them to heat up the water. The shower actually had a shower curtain, which was a positive I learned for Nepal. "I had a great stay! The staff is professional, attentive, and friendly. The building seems to be well constructed and well done. Quality furnishings and fixtures. Hot water in the shower with lots of pressure. The airport shuttle service was very appreciated. On top of everything, it was exceptionally affordable. I highly recommend that you stay here while in Pokhara."
