Was a little bit too hot in room & you couldn't open the windows any further due to the restraint at the bottom of the window. Their was no TV remote (should have been checked I think by house staff) however the staff did all they could to find another and sort the problem. "Liked the garden, but it needs a little C&A... Disabled car parking near to our room (No.5) was an excellent bonus. Breakfast was excellent but a bit expensive. Staff were all very courtious and helpful. Direct booking rather than via an agency is preferred. We will certainly be recomending the Lion to our friends and relations and using you again next time we are in the area.
