The cabin was good .. Had everything we needed .. and close to the town centre by car .. surrounding area bush very relaxing .. it is a nice place to stay ..has pool .. only thing was we couldnt get connection on our phones inside the cabin .. only when we went outside .. which maybe wasnt such a bad thing after all!

Beechworth is a terrific town with numerous features. The unit we had needed some TLC. For example, all of the taps in the cabin needed attention, no light over the stove, and the exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work.

Owner was amazing! Receptionist was horrific. We got told the property was pet friendly and came with eveything we'd need. Upon arrival i was charged almost $300 on top of the $400 i already paid for the cabin! Only one of the beds was made and we had to pay $80 for the linen for the other 4 beds.

The cabin was brand new and very comfortable for 4 people. When we arrived there was no bedding for our 2 children only in the master room, my husband asked why this was at reception as we had booked for 4 people. We were then advised that we would have to pay $20 extra for bedding and towels. We thought this would have been included at the time of booking. I personally found this very strange. The master bedroom mattress was new but very cheap, I ended up having a sore back for 2 days after using it. I enjoyed the location and ammenities and would stay there again.

Comfortable and warm in a quiet setting. A little confusing with parking with the people in the camping sites opposite parking wherever they pleased. Set about halfway along the Lake Sambell to Lake Kerferd walk. A nice (approx 3km) walk into Beechworth itself.
