"I stay at the Glendale regularly to visit my daughter and granddaughter who live nearby. It is a lovely hotel above an Italian restaurant with very convenient access to Penarth train station with regular trains into nearby Cardiff. It has both single and double size rooms and I usually choose a single. "They gave us an upgraded room at no request upon arrival, two free drinks in the bar as it was my birthday! The room was so lovely, the bed was unbelievably comfortable! The soap etc in the bathroom smelled divine, so much I’m now hunting online to see if we can purchase it! Also the aircon was fantastic!"
