"We have just returned from a lovely trip to this hotel
Great location
Breakfast was lovely and staff were so nice and friendly
Very helpful and accommodating
The pool is lovely for a dip after a hot day it might need a bit of a revamp but it was great and just lovely to have that available
Room was lovely well decorated and fairly up to date wasn’t shabby at all
Had all the facilities that we needed and we would definitely stay again
Thank you for a lovely stay"
"The staff were just the best and couldn’t do enough to accommodate you. We were lucky to stay in one of the new rooms with access to the garden. The room and facilities were perfect for a 2 and a 5 year old, we’ll certainly be coming back again"
"Hotel was attached to the football stadium and found that it was quiet when I visited in June.Room was okay, just a nosey toilet cistern which the manager was going to get sorted. Only gripe was bedroom menu for the downstairs restaurant indicated fish pie, but when I went down to order it was a different menu.
All in all a good hotel"
"An historic hotel situated close to the cathedral. The public rooms are very well appointed and the staff were helpful. My room on the 4th floor was comfortable, thought the bathroom was rather small. The hotel served an acceptable cooked breakfast."
"Really Lovely experience at the hotel. Found the layout confusing and felt the leisure/spa staff could have been more friendly/welcoming.
Otherwise it was an amazing place to stay!:)"
"Lovely old hotel next to the river. Room was spacious and well appointed. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good parking. Restaurant and bar with riverside seating."
