"Warm, friendly & helpful hostess who had just recently taken over the hotel. Stunning views over the Bay of Islands. However breakfast service and content was poor at times. The room lacked aspects at this price level. Towels were frayed, no safe for valuables. Also access to the hotel is tight and challlenging. "

"The view was incredible Two bedd and 2 bath, but unfortunately only 1 toilet for each floor, so not as convenient for older guests The second bedroom is only suitable for children"

"An absolutely lovely couple running this spacious and well equipped place that felt like a home. The balcony and outdoor spaces were perfect and the view was stunning. Inside offered great gathering spaces and both rooms had very comfortable beds. All of this plus thoughtful touches like wine, yogurt, fruit, and eggs in the fridge PLUS homemade fresh loaf of sourdough?! I never wanted to leave! Highly recommend!"
