Arrived at 3pm on date confirmed. Knocked on door and windows, rang bell, phoned lots of times, walked around premises but was unable to make anyone hear. Even visited the shop over the road to see if they knew if everything was ok. Was told the landlord was usually there. Finally after nearly 2 hours we wrote a note which we pushed through the door to cancel reservation.
The faded menu outside which was in a glass case had come unstuck so it was unreadable and in general the whole place looked rundown.
Thankfully when I contacted Expedia a little while later and explained what had happened they were able to speak to the owner who said he had found our note and they cancelled our reservation.
