We had a lovely stay and it fit the bill for us for the most part. The breakfast was lovely, lots of options and generous portions.
It’s in a lovely area of Bath around a 15 minute walk from the centre surrounded by lots of equally beautiful properties.
Our room was smaller than expected and could get quite warm even with the windows open. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but not awful. We had a slightly unfortunate experience in that we were in Bath for a wedding and I was quite unwell so needed a quiet space to rest and be able to nap during the day. The room could get quite noisy in the morning due to things outside of the staff’s control (e.g., a tree being pruned at 8am on a Saturday morning on the neighbouring property and a dog that whined for hours at a time in the morning on a neighbouring property). Between those and not being able to close the windows as it was so warm and there was no air con, it made for a somewhat uncomfortable experience at times.
That being said, if you are in Bath to sight see and will be out and about all day long then this B&B is absolutely perfect and you will have a lovely stay and get to see a little more of Bath when you’re walking to and from the centre!
